What started off as a boutique consulting company providing security advice to the few who cared has today become of the world's most trusted providers of security services and thought leadership.

We help companies build better and more secure products by delivering offensive application and cloud security testing combined with clear, practical advice.

Our Story

Our story began way back when the world had just begun discovering web.2.0.

Having met through some common friends, Akash and Gwil discovered a whitespace that existed in the application security space worldwide.

Apps were being built and pushed out at breakneck speed and security testing barely existed as a practice.

They put their heads together, joined forces and started AppSecco with the vision to train application dev companies in secure coding practices.

They were joined by the Master Hacker Yoda-like Riyaz Waliker and soon enough, the trio were being called in by start-ups and enterprises alike to share their expertise in solving hacks, ransomware attacks and random security incidents.

They also made a name for themselves in running events and trainings. Very soon the three man army grew, hiring people into their company, experts and bright talented freshers alike, all joined by the common vision of provide a safer internet for everyone.

Appsecco today is based across 2 continents. Every team member shares a passion for providing the best possible security solutions that meet your specific commercial and organisational needs and challenges.

They are all industry experts with qualifications and experience ranging from OSCP and CREST accreditations to being active contributors to the bug bounty programmes of the world’s leading software companies.
